Originally from the charming city of Charleston, South Carolina, Lisa Kenton has called Northern Virginia home for many years. She holds a B.A. in Economics from George Mason University, a Master Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University, and an Associate Broker’s license—proof that she blends sharp business skills and a knack for strategic thinking with advanced industry expertise.
Lisa’s real estate journey began in 2003, when she earned her license while her husband was deployed in the Iraq War. What started as a practical decision quickly became a passion—one that’s led to more than two decades of helping clients navigate the exciting (and sometimes unpredictable) world of buying and selling homes.
In 2012, Lisa expanded her career by becoming a certified real estate instructor. Teaching, for her, is just as rewarding as closing a deal. She thrives on seeing her students push through challenges, master new concepts, and achieve their licenses—especially when some go on to work in the same office alongside her.
For Lisa, real estate is about people and possibilities: the satisfaction of helping a client find their dream home, the joy of seeing a student’s “lightbulb moment,” and the privilege of being part of someone’s personal or professional milestones.
Beyond her professional life, Lisa is celebrating over 30 years of marriage and is the proud mom of two adult daughters. She’s a passionate foodie and avid cook, loves tackling 1000-piece puzzles, enjoys crocheting beautiful creations, and always has a good book or playlist ready to enjoy. Whether she’s guiding clients towards home buying or selling, students toward success, or stirring a pot of something delicious, Lisa brings the same warmth, dedication, and enthusiasm to everything she does.
