Mortgage Lending & Real Estate Educator

Originally from Denver, Colorado I’ve called this area home for most of my life, giving me a deep connection to the community and the people who live here. My business background includes serving as an instructor in the Training & Development department for a large national bank. That role sharpened my ability to break down complex topics into clear, actionable steps – a skill that continues to serve me well today.
I began my mortgage career over 30 years ago drawn to the industry because I wanted to help people achieve one of the most meaningful milestones in their lives—homeownership. Over the years, I’ve guided countless clients through the lending and buying process, always with a focus on making complex steps feel clear, approachable, and stress-free.
My passion for helping people led naturally into instructing. I’ve been teaching for the last 30 years, working with new and experienced real estate professionals to help them strengthen their skills, grow their businesses, and serve their clients better.
For me, the most rewarding part of real estate is seeing the joy and relief on a client’s face when they get the keys to their new home. In teaching, it’s watching that “lightbulb moment” when a student suddenly sees a better way to do something, and it changes the way they approach their work.
Outside of real estate, I’m an avid hiker and love to spend time making memories with my grandchildren. I reside in Northern Virginia with my husband, Jeff, alongside our two canine companions, Liah and Callie. These passions keep me balanced, creative, and connected to life beyond the office and classroom.
